Greetings from home! We've been on the go since the beginning of May and finally home. We've been to Southern MD, Crisfield area for a strawberry festival and just this past weekend we wrapped up with Wine in the Woods in Columbia, MD. We couldn't have asked for better weather on all events too!
This year marks our 10 year anniversary of selling at art fairs and one thing is for sure, you never know what can happen from one show to the next. Everyone's tastes are different and that held true at our recent festivals. There wasn't one item that sold the best, but a little bit of everything sold. We can say our car fresheners are a big hit as sales in that department was more than our candle sales. It only makes sense as it is an affordable choice and easy to tote when at a show.
We are also pleased to know our new candle scents - Michigan Melon and Apricot, Palm Springs Pear Berry Oasis, Cambridge Classic Lavender, and Sacramento Black Cherry Soda are a big hit too. At shows people gravitate to these first and often say it makes them hungry (the foody scents) or amazed how true to life they smell. This is something you just can't convey over the Internet and pleased by the overwhelming positive reaction and sales.
Well, we're going to take some time to finish updating our website and sign up for a few more craft shows. Hope to see you at a future show!
